TablePlay Privacy Policy – How We Protect Your Data

At TablePlay, what you share with us stays protected. This page explains exactly what personal data we collect from Filipino players, how we use it, who we share it with (very few people, for very specific reasons), and what rights you have under Philippine law.

What TablePlay's Privacy Policy Covers

Six areas that shape how your personal data is handled every time you play.

What Data We Collect

Registration details, transaction history, device information, and gameplay activity. We only collect what's necessary for account management, payments, and legal compliance — nothing extra.

How We Use Your Data

To run your account, process GCash and Maya payments, verify your identity for withdrawals, improve the platform, and comply with the Anti-Money Laundering Act and Philippine gaming regulations.

Who We Share It With

Payment processors like GCash, Maya, and your bank — only what they need to complete your transaction. Regulatory bodies when legally required. Never sold to advertisers or third-party marketers.

How We Protect It

256-bit SSL encryption on all connections, strict access controls on stored data, regular security audits, and a team policy that limits who inside TablePlay can view your account details.

How Long We Keep It

Active account data is retained for as long as your account remains open. After closure, transaction records are kept for the period required by Philippine financial and gaming regulations, then securely deleted.

Your Rights Under RA 10173

As a Filipino data subject, you have the right to access, correct, erase, object to processing, and be informed about how your data is used. TablePlay provides clear channels to exercise every one of these rights.

1. Introduction

TablePlay, operating at tableplay.net, takes the privacy of every Filipino player seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data from the moment you visit our platform to well after you've finished a session. It applies to all data collected through the TablePlay website, mobile browser experience, and any communication channels we operate — including live chat, email, and SMS.

This policy has been written in compliance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act 10173) and its implementing rules and regulations, as well as relevant guidelines issued by the National Privacy Commission (NPC). If there is ever any conflict between this policy and Philippine law, Philippine law governs.

By registering for and using a TablePlay account, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and that you consent to the processing of your personal data as described herein. If you do not agree, please do not register or use the platform.

Data Controller: TablePlay is the data controller for all personal data processed through tableplay.net. Our Data Protection Officer (DPO) can be reached at privacy@tableplay.net for all data-related queries and requests.

2. Personal Data We Collect

2.1 Data You Provide Directly

When you register a TablePlay account and use the platform, you provide us with the following categories of personal data:

  • Identity data: Full legal name, date of birth, nationality, and government-issued ID details (submitted for KYC verification)
  • Contact data: Philippine mobile number and email address
  • Financial data: GCash account number, Maya account number, bank account name and number (for BDO, BPI, UnionBank transfers), and card type (Visa or Mastercard) — we do not store full card numbers or CVVs
  • Account credentials: Username and encrypted password (never stored in plain text)
  • Verification documents: Copies of government-issued IDs submitted for KYC — stored securely and accessible only to authorised compliance staff

2.2 Data Collected Automatically

When you access the TablePlay platform, our systems automatically collect the following technical data:

  • IP address and general geographic location (region-level, not street address)
  • Device type, operating system version, and browser type
  • Session timestamps — when you logged in, how long you played, when you logged out
  • Pages visited within the TablePlay platform and navigation paths
  • Game activity logs — bets placed, games played, outcomes (retained for dispute resolution and regulatory compliance)

2.3 Data We Do Not Collect

TablePlay does not collect biometric data, health information, religious or political views, or any other sensitive personal data categories beyond those described above. We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or location beyond the IP-based approximation described. We do not store full payment credentials — GCash PINs, Maya passwords, online banking passwords, and full card numbers are entered directly into the respective provider's secure interface and are never transmitted to or stored by TablePlay.

3. How We Use Your Personal Data

TablePlay uses your personal data for the following specific purposes. We will not use your data for any purpose that is not listed here without first seeking your consent or establishing a new lawful basis for the processing.

  • Account creation and management: Setting up your TablePlay account, maintaining it, and processing updates you request
  • Payment processing: Executing deposits and withdrawals through your chosen Philippine payment method — GCash, Maya, GrabPay, Coins.ph, InstaPay, PESONet, BDO, BPI, UnionBank, Visa, or Mastercard
  • Identity verification (KYC): Confirming your identity before processing withdrawals, as required by Philippine AML regulations
  • Fraud prevention and platform security: Detecting suspicious account activity, preventing multi-accounting, and protecting both you and the TablePlay platform from fraudulent transactions
  • Customer support: Responding to your queries, resolving disputes, and investigating reported issues with your account
  • Legal and regulatory compliance: Meeting obligations under the Philippine Data Privacy Act, Anti-Money Laundering Act, and applicable gaming regulations, including mandatory reporting to the AMLC where required
  • Platform improvement: Understanding how Filipino players use the platform so we can improve performance, fix issues, and develop features that are actually useful
  • Responsible gaming: Monitoring account activity to identify signs of problem gambling and ensuring that self-exclusion tools work as intended
  • Service communications: Sending transaction confirmations, withdrawal notifications, and important account security alerts via your registered mobile number or email

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act and its implementing rules, TablePlay processes your personal data on the following legal grounds:

  • Contractual necessity: Processing your registration data and payment information is necessary to fulfil our agreement with you — the operation of your TablePlay account and the execution of your gaming and financial transactions.
  • Legal obligation: We are required by Philippine law — including the Anti-Money Laundering Act of 2001 (AMLA), as amended, and applicable gaming regulations — to collect and retain certain data, including government-issued ID documents and transaction records.
  • Legitimate interests: We process technical and device data on the basis of our legitimate interest in maintaining platform security, preventing fraud, and ensuring fair play for all users.
  • Consent: Where we send you optional marketing or promotional communications beyond standard transaction notifications, we will seek your explicit consent beforehand. You may withdraw this consent at any time by contacting support.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

TablePlay does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share your data only in the following limited and necessary circumstances:

5.1 Payment Service Providers

To process your deposits and withdrawals, we share the minimum necessary information with your chosen payment provider — GCash, Maya, GrabPay, Coins.ph, InstaPay, PESONet, BDO, BPI, UnionBank, or your Visa/Mastercard issuer. These providers have their own privacy policies and data practices, which govern the data you share with them directly through their own authentication interfaces.

5.2 Identity Verification Services

To complete KYC verification required before your first withdrawal, TablePlay may share your submitted ID documents with a licensed identity verification service. These services process your documents solely for the purpose of confirming your identity and are bound by strict data processing agreements.

5.3 Regulatory and Legal Authorities

TablePlay is required by Philippine law to disclose certain transaction data to the Anti-Money Laundering Council (AMLC) and other relevant regulatory bodies. We will also disclose data in response to a valid court order, subpoena, or other legal process issued by Philippine courts or competent authorities. We will notify you of any such request unless legally prohibited from doing so.

5.4 Technology and Infrastructure Partners

TablePlay uses third-party service providers for cloud hosting, security monitoring, and platform analytics. These providers process data exclusively on our behalf, under data processing agreements that restrict them from using your data for any purpose other than providing their service to TablePlay.

We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, affiliate marketing networks, or any entity for commercial purposes unrelated to the operation of your TablePlay account.

6. Cookies and Similar Technologies

TablePlay uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies to operate the platform, maintain your session when you're logged in, and understand how players use the site. Here's what's in use:

  • Essential cookies: Required for the platform to function. These keep you logged in during your session and maintain your preferences. Cannot be disabled without breaking platform functionality.
  • Performance cookies: Used to understand page load times, error rates, and how different game categories are accessed. Data is aggregated and not tied to your individual identity.
  • Security cookies: Support our fraud detection and CSRF protection systems. These are temporary and expire when you close your browser session.

TablePlay does not use advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies will prevent the TablePlay platform from functioning correctly.

7. Data Security

Protecting the personal data of our Filipino players is a non-negotiable priority at TablePlay. The security measures we have in place include:

  • 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption on all data transmitted between your device and the TablePlay platform
  • Encrypted data storage for all sensitive personal data held in our databases — data is not stored in readable plain text
  • Role-based access controls ensuring that only authorised TablePlay staff with a specific operational need can access account data, and only at the level of detail their role requires
  • Regular security assessments including vulnerability scans and periodic independent security reviews of our platform and infrastructure
  • Incident response procedures that define how TablePlay will detect, contain, and report any data breach, including notifying affected players and the National Privacy Commission within the timeframes required by RA 10173

No digital system is entirely immune to security incidents. In the event that a breach affecting your data occurs, TablePlay will notify you directly using your registered mobile number or email address as promptly as technically possible, and will provide guidance on steps you can take to protect your account.

8. Data Retention

TablePlay retains your personal data only for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by Philippine law. General retention periods are as follows:

  • Active account data (registration details, payment records, game history): Retained for the full duration your account is open
  • Transaction and game activity records: Retained for a minimum of 5 years after account closure, as required by Philippine AMLA regulations and gaming compliance obligations
  • Identity verification documents (KYC): Retained for 5 years after account closure in line with AMLA record-keeping requirements
  • Technical and device logs: Retained on a rolling 90-day basis and overwritten unless a specific incident investigation requires their preservation
  • Customer support communications: Retained for 2 years from the date of the last interaction or resolution, then deleted

When retention periods expire, personal data is securely deleted or anonymised. Anonymised, aggregated data (which cannot be used to identify any individual) may be retained indefinitely for platform performance analysis.

If we become aware that a person under 21 has registered an account or provided personal data, we will immediately close the account, delete all associated data as promptly as legally possible, and return any remaining balance to the payment method used for deposits. If you believe a minor has accessed the TablePlay platform, please contact support immediately at support@tableplay.net.

11. Cross-Border Data Transfers

TablePlay's primary data infrastructure is located within the Philippines or in jurisdictions that the National Privacy Commission has determined provide adequate data protection for Filipino data subjects. In cases where data is processed outside the Philippines — for example, by a cloud infrastructure provider — TablePlay ensures that appropriate contractual safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses approved by the NPC) are in place to protect your data to the same standard required by RA 10173.

Your personal data will not be transferred to a country that lacks adequate data protection standards without appropriate safeguards and, where required by law, your prior consent.

12. Third-Party Links

The TablePlay platform does not contain links to external third-party websites beyond the payment providers used at the point of transaction. If you navigate to an external site through any such link, please note that those sites have their own privacy policies which TablePlay does not control and is not responsible for. TablePlay's Privacy Policy applies only to data processed through the tableplay.net platform and TablePlay's own communications channels.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

TablePlay reviews this Privacy Policy periodically and updates it when our data practices change, when Philippine data protection regulations are updated, or when the National Privacy Commission issues new relevant guidelines. The effective date shown at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision.

When changes are material — meaning they significantly affect how your data is used or your rights — we will notify you directly through your registered mobile number or email address before the changes take effect, and will give you a reasonable period to review the updated policy. For minor clarifications that do not change the substance of our practices, we will simply update the page and note the revision date.

14. Contact and Data Protection Officer

TablePlay has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO) responsible for overseeing our compliance with the Philippine Data Privacy Act and handling all data-related queries from players.
